There are many steps in order to achieve an amazing business. Your City Hall will be able to provide you with the paperwork required and health care requirements to open your business. When it come to skin care it is best to talk directly with your supplier. You need to make sure know what clients you are trying to attract as well as what kind treatments you would like to offer them and so it’s very important to work with a supplier who can offer you a variety of solutions.
Once that has been decided getting advice on the start up of your business is very straight forward. When your business’s paperwork has begun you can look at purchasing your equipment. Maybe clients will use their personal capital to invest in their business but is that the wisest? Some will look at leasing companies that allow you to use that monthly payment as a business expense. Which is best? That is a very difficult question. But it is a wise discussion to have. At Breizh we do work with a few different local leasing companies that make purchasing a full set of equipment much easier.
Another very important aspect of starting a new business, especially if you are inexperienced, is to work with a coach or mentor who has done what you are trying to do. By meeting with them at least on a monthly basis you will be able to keep focused on what you need to do next in order to build yourself a long lasting, profitable business. Unfortunately many business coaches charge upwards of $1000 per month to work with them which can be a lot to invest when starting out. To bridge that gap, simply by being a client of Breizh and carrying one of our 4 main lines (France Laure, Pier Augé, Phyto 5 or Cirepil Waxing) you would be eligible for our New Business Entrepreneurship Program. We’ve been in the industry for almost 32 years, and so might know a thing or two to help you grow your business. ;)
These are some of the most important considerations you need to ask yourself when starting out in business. Talk to the different suppliers (there are many in BC) and decide for yourself who would be the best to work with based on what you believe and what you and, just as importantly, your clients need.
