Manicure & Pedicure course (150 hours)
Students in this program learn basic and spa manicures and pedicures. Students will also develop an awareness of personal and public hygiene and sanitation practices in the salon environment.
The program is delivered in the class room and salon. The course is divided between classroom theory time and practical applications. The students perform services on each other or clients in the salon.
This course is designed as an introduction to nail services, focusing on manicures and pedicures, client services and care, procedures and techniques, supplies and equipment related to the manicure and pedicure service.
Vancouver College of Massage Therapy
The school is dedicated to educating students in academic, practical, and professional excellence.
The Massage Therapy Program is fully accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) and is recognized by the College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia (CMTBC) as an accredited massage therapy school in British Columbia
Course outline:
- Level 100: prepares learners for successful completion of the program and for entry into the student clinic internship. A significant portion of the instruction in this level is devoted to developing ‘hands on’ skills to develop palpation and anatomical locations.
